No FPP for Afternoons?

I just made my FP reservations for the first time and there were no options for FPs in the afternoon. This totally threw me off because I had not anticipated that. I don't think I read that on any of the countless FP threads I've read, but maybe I missed it?

In anycase, is this normal? When can I get FPs for the afternoons?
