I read on the BWI thread that there are no coffee pots in the standard rooms. I also noticed the date on this is 2002!

Please tell me this is not the case...cannot believe that a deluxe hotel would not offer such a basic amenitity.

Is there an additional charge if you request one?

We leave tomorrow :goodvibes and I'll call to ask for one if necessary- thanks!

In 2002, there were no coffee pots in rooms.

About 2 years ago, WDW put coffee pots and small 'fridges in each deluxe and mod resort rooms.

There was one in my Standard View Room at the BWI in November 2006. I know because I used it every day. :-)

I believe the Deluxe hotels at Disney do have coffee pots now, but that is not a typical amenitity in Deluxe Hotels. Most of the nice hotels I stay in offer a mini bar and room service, not serve yourself coffee pots.

There are coffee pots. We stayed at BWI in July, and I used the coffee pot every morning!

We just stayed there in Nov. and I used it daily. I did bring my own coffee & filters (4 cup size) We both use cream so bought pint in the store & brought pkts of sweetner for dh.
