No Charges for Tigger!

Just read in my daily email top stories that "tigger" has not been charged in the case where he "clocked" a kid. I saw the video and knew it was an accidental or playful thing. Yeah! I hope Disney brings him back on staff.
Good always wins out!!

I agree...Great news.

If you watch the video, it's clearly a defensive move by Tigger. That kid had his hand behind his head, and must have been trying to do something (perhaps get under the head piece)

I watched the video several times and it looked like Tigger was trying to see what was going on behind him and by accident, "bumped" the kid.

Not quite - he still does not have his job back. And of course, there is all that pay he lost as well. Disney DOES NOT take care very good care of their employees on a good day, let alone when an employee really needs them.

Not to mention, the hue and cry that he will not be charged is not nearly as loud as the uproar was when this story first broke. This man's name was used INTERNATIONALLY as a CM that hit a kid at Disney. I am sure there will not be an apology or an exoneration that will travel that far and wide.

From what I did not heard anything as far as a law suit been filed or anything - DID I MISS THAT PART? INFACT Disney offered them things and they turned it down for an aology from what I heard.

After all seems Disney is giving jobs to every tom dick & harry ...recently an employee was charged with 51 counts of child porn!!!! that scares me to think these men are around kids of all ages!!!

So I think disney is just like every other company out there....Don't get me wrong LOVE the place but this world is not a happy go lucky place and just because he was in a costume should not excuse his behavior.After all this a a 31 year old MAN in a costume right? Not a "TIGGER"..
It does NOT matter if the kid did something ..adults are suppose to know better than to hit a kid---RIGHT???Accident...I dont think so- how can it be that if he said it was SELF DEFENSE??Self defense against a tiny 14 yr old???

I may be posting in the wrong place but that is why freedom of speech is so wonderful in the GREAT USA!!

I am happy for Tigger, too. I think that the 14 year old needs to apologize, too, because he was definitely doing something behind Tigger's back. I am tired of parents who not only go to bat for their children but doesn't do anything to teach them that sometimes you are responsible for your actions. Instead, we teach our children that they can pull the wool over our eyes and they make no mistakes! How perfect can you get?!

I too saw the video, and it looks like the young man was trying to do something behind the characters back; remove the head piece, unzip the costume, something not right....
When the character turned to prevent this, he bumped the kids nose unintentionally. Maybe the father should have demanded an apology from his son, not Disney!
