I made alot of chicken last night for dinner and I took the juices from the pan and added a lot of water and cut up carrots that were going bad, some celery and onion that I bought yesterday for .90. Cut up some of the leftover chicken from last night. I took one breast with me to work today and another breast for lunch tomorrow. Then I broke the stock with the chicken and vegetables in half and froze the one half after it was cooked. Then I cooked some noodles separately and added to 1/2 of the vegetable chicken stock. I have approx. 3 quarts of Chicken noodle soup made! And another 3 quarts in the freezer, just waiting for the noodles. So for approx. 3.50 including the cost of the chicken. I made a gallon and 1/2 of soup!

I totally agree! It sounds like many of us are experiencing the wonderful Midwestern winter wind.
I DID mean to pick up some milk on the way home from work today, but I must have "forgot" - or maybe it was the -18 degree windchill.
I need a really good blizzard, oh and I need to loose my internet connection so I can't buy online!
