No Bounceback for me???

I was wondering if anyone knows why some are offered bounceback and others not? I was just in WDW in June, had a blast and then on my own accord booked a return trip for next year, same resort only now we are headed down the week of Christmas 2008. I was reading all of the "bounceback" threads and was wondering why I was never offered any deals. Maybe they know I am an easy mark for Disney and booked regardless of being offered a bounceback or not....although I do feel a little left out...*sniff*...

Bounceback is only offered in September this year - and was only offered in Nov/Dec of 2006. And when I say "offered", sometimes you have to ask about it - it's not always easy to find info.

We are going to be there when they are offering it to the free dining customers. I told my husband they are offering it again next year. He said NO he is burned out of disney world free food or not.

Thanks guys, I was curious. I am unsure any specials would be offered to me because I am travelling Christmas week. I really wish discounts or savings could be had at that time of year.

A bounceback offer is one that they make to you while you are staying at WDW that is good for a stay at a specific time in the future and that you have to book while you are still there.

On a trip in 2003, we were staying at the ASMusic. Two days before we checked out, we found a tag hanging on the door to our room. It stated that if we made reservations before we checked out that were for a trip within the next 12 months, we could have 40% off the room . We called my family and decided to all go for Thanksgiving that year. We got two rooms in the tower at the Contemporary (we'd only stayed in the wings before that) at 40% off! We checked the regular rates for our dates just to make the offer was accurate, and it was. We've been dreaming of a repeat of that bounceback offer ever since...

I believe that the current one is only going on during September for a trip next September with the free dining plan offer.
