Well the journey down to Ashford was the easiest I have done. Yes, there was freezing fog (down to -6) and I did use 2.5litres of screenwash. A diesel takes a looong time for the engine to warm up and a soultion to the initially frozen washer jets was a Primo Latte: placed over aforementioned jets for 1 minute each - result jets unfrozen and coffee at drinking temperature. (This was NOT done whilst driving!!)
Have rescheduled to an earlier Eurotunnel slot so if there are delays, I will still be setting off by my original planned departure!!

Went to Beefeater at Eureka Park for tea, ordered ribs...after 40 mins of sipping drink manager came to inform me the order slip had got lost???? Ribs arrived after further wait...cold with cold, hard corn encrusted to cob and mushy onion rings
so I declined the offer of a different meal and had a really fresh KFC instead.
