Now I am ruined!!! I returned to the NJ beach for the first time today , since my return from my first cruise on the Wonder, in April of this year.........
I AM SICK!!!!! I cant stop thinking about how nice it was to see the ocean floor, and how sparkling clear the waters where in the Bahamas, and how white the beaches where, did I mention the fact about them being spotless??
I have been a Jersey Beach goer since I was a little girl, and now I found myself crazy about thinking how quick I can get back on the ship and return to PARADISE!
I think I need a stiff drink, I am bummed, I need to move to the islands I think!

At least the Caribbean doesn't have hospital waste washing ashore.
I grew up there and the ONLY time there was "medical waste" washing up on the beaches was about 17-18 years ago, and it was waste from a NEW YORK hospital, and they closed the beaches until it was all cleaned up. NJ has the softest sand beaches on the north east coast
I found this out the hard way; when I moved up here to Massachusetts I couldn't believe how rough and rocky the beaches up here were! Not to mention that the water NEVER warms up. I'm not knocking the beaches of Massachusetts because I think ALL beaches are beautiful, but usually it's the people who aren't familiar with NJ and its beaches that are the ones who knock it!
