Does anyone know if the Nintendo DS uses the same electrical leads as a Game Boy? A couple of years ago I bought my DNephs Game Boys from the US-ha ha, thought I, saved a fortune :teeth: NOT SO! Darn things electric cables were, of course, no good for here. Had to buy them here, ended up costing nearly as much as buying them here in the first place would.
Now fast forward on several years-Nintendo DS is the way to go now. So, if I buy those in US when I go, will I have same problem again or can they use the leads they already have? :confused3

We didn't buy our Game Boys from the USA but the charging lead for the Game Boy Advance SP is the same as that for the ( UK purchased) Nintendo DS.
It states AGS-002(UKV) on both of them. The only difference is that the GBA says GBASP on it.

Hope this helps.

Excellent, I'm gonna be the worlds greatest Auntie again (For about a week)

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Just wait for the DS Light it comes out at the end of this month, GB power supply will NOT work with DS!! DS US power supply will NOT work in the UK You can buy a power supply at Game it won't cost the earth £10- £15!!Hope that clears things up!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

And don't forget to pick up some DS games whilst you're there - they're a fraction of the UK price :thumbsup2
