When amazon runs their lightning deals, how much does the Nintendo DS usually go for? Ever see a DSi on the lightning deals? I think there might be one at 3 p.m. CST. The clue was "an extra-large hand held gaming system." What do you think the price will be?

Ohhh...that would be great. That is the only thing I need to get. A trick I use is that I will put it in my cart and then at the time of the deal; check out. I will have to do that.

I searched for Nintendo Dsi XL. WHen the product appeared, I clicked add to cart. When I sign back in during the offer it will be listed with the offer price (if that's what the offer was).
But the clue is "trick out your midnight blue DSi XL"
I am not sure if it's the actul console or stuff to go with it. I want to get my son one but might just order the mario one that comes with Mario cart instead

I got the Mario Cart DSi XL at Target last week, using my 10% off coupon and my RedCard for another 5% off. Final price was ~153, I think. I was thinking of jumping on this Lightning Deal, and returning the Mario Cart one, but it sold out in seconds.

I got one!! I was worried that my slow-as-molasses computer wouldn't be fast enough. Now another video lightning deal is in an hour with the clue to trick out your DSi XL (I can't remember if it said cobalt or midnight blue). What is that going to be?

YES YES YES - I got one!! I already had it in my cart and made sure my cc info was up to date & bam JUMPED on it! Good thing because I started the check out process the second the deal popped up, completed my check out in a matter of ( I'm guessing here) about 25 seconds & checked back to see that 100% were already claimed. WOW. But DS will be elated, so now I am too.
Hope theaccessory for it is a good deal. We bought the midnight blue one the first day it was released. We don't have anything that goes with it, not that we need it, but it might be nice if the price is right.

You're welcome. Too bad my DH doesn't feel the same way -- he says DS9 doesn't need an expensive gift since we're going to Disney in 2 days. But I just couldn't pass up a good deal and he wants one so bad. Anybody else ever suffer from buyer's remorse?

Aww, I am sorry..But..if it is what he truly wants, then maybe you could rationalize it by cutting back on the little things that add up for gifts, that dont get used. Really, if you think he will play with it, then seems to be worth it.
