I've heard/read some not so great things about this restaurant. My husband would like to go there (he really likes Chinese). Should I work hard at talking him out of it?

I'm thinking I could maybe talk him into one of the Japanese places instead.

Any experiences eating (sit down) in China or Japan?
Thanks!

We tired the all you can eat luncheon and loved it! I'm glad I gave it a chance. It was a good value too but I can't remember the price. Teppanaki in Japan is another good choice.

I also had heard not so great reviews so had not tried it until a few weeks ago. Becuase I was by myself and I wanted a variety of food I did not order any of the main dishes. I didn't want to spen $22 on a huge serving of Generl Cho's chicken and fried rice so I ordered off the dim sum menu and also had a bowl of won ton soup. It was all very good. The restaurant is very nice inside and service was excellent. The main dishes appeared to be well prepared but I can not comment on the taste. Maybe next time...if I can make it past the dim sum! :)

If he really loves Chinese food he is probably going to be disapointed. The food is medicore and the prices WAY too high.

We went to Nine Dragons last December and loved it. I had the lemon chicken, DH had the sesame chicken, and DS had the General Tso's chicken. The dinner was great and the service was exceptional. When I was making our dinner plans for our trip I almost excluded this restaurant because of the bad reviews that I had read. We will return here during our vacation next year!

Nine Dragons Sesame Chicken is to die for. We make sure to eat here at least once every time we visit the world. The Shao Mai dim sum and the wonton soup is wonderful. I don't think we've ever had a bad meal at this restaraunt, something I can't say about Tusker House, Pizzafari, Hollywood and Dine, or Marrakesh (wonderful cous cous, lousy lamb and no belly dancer :()

I would say go and make up your own minds.

We just went there last Tuesday and it was the best meal we had at Disney.
Matt was our waiter and he was great! The food was fabulous and we eat a lot of Chinese food. I highly recommend this restaurant!
