We're going with friends whose DD is celebrating her 11th birthday. For her dinner celebration, we must do Asian because she loves all things Asian. We wanted Teppanyaki, but it's closed for renovations while we're there (6/15-6/22). We have an ADR at Nine Dragons, but we're a party of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) and have been told we'll have to dine at separate tables.

Any experience with that? The dining CM thought they'd see the birthday notice and seat us close if at all possible. We've never eaten here and don't know what to expect.

Thanks.

We recently ate there, the way the restaurant is layed out it is conducive for pushing tables together. While we were there, I saw a table that definitely had 8+ people seating at it. Mind you this was around 2pm. I imagine that this a policy is for the more prime time/crowdeds. They don't want to hold open a particular table in the hopes that one next to it will free up so they can push them together.

Thanks - that helps!
