A new day!
Today's the day we check out of Pop and into The Boardwalk Villas. We were very lucky to score points from a fellow disser. He was wonderful.
We were up and ready fairly early for going to bed so late. I just couldn't wait to get to Boardwalk. I'd fantisized about this place for months. I took a few pictures of our view from Pop on our way out.
We could see the pool a little bit!
We were also excited about checking into the Boardwalk because we started our dining plan.
We drove up to the Lobby so I could go in and check out. Aren't they supposed to put something under your door?? I went to get in line, it's HUGE. There is a guy standing there with a giant PDA so I asked him if this is where I check out. He gets my name and does some tapping with his magic stick and BAM, we are checked out. Thanks Mr. CM guy!!
We were on our way!
We were kind of worried about finding our way there. We seem to always get lost. I won't bore you with the slightly heated arguments we have had. But there have been a couple. I told Jay to head to Epcot, it's around there somewhere.
I swear a couple Disney blocks later, we pulled into the most beautiful place (at that time) in Disney. It was just so wonderful. Huh, wonder why I didn't take any pictures?? Jay parked up by the entrance and I went in by myself.

Thank you! As I am grinning ear to ear. And this was all before I checked in. There was 1 person ahead of me and the CMs at the counter were all busy with people. It took a little while, but it didn't matter. I was checking into this place. Finally got up to the counter and the CM tells me he has no record of us being on the Dining plan. I am freaking out! He says "let me go check". Meanwhile I'm working out an alternate plan in my head. We'll just do counter service all week. No problem. He comes back and says he found it
!
I can't for the life of me figure out where he found it! Our room wasn't ready yet so he gives me a number to call. He sends me over to Concierge to get our tickets put on our Keycards. But before I go I get another "Welcome Home".
I am lovin this!
Tickets all taken care of I head out to the truck. I really didn't expect Jay to still be there, I thought for sure he'd go park. He didn't, he was still there. I get in and he says do we want to leave our luggage, they will hold it for us until we get our room.
See, this was discussed well before this point.
I really thought this is why he was still parked there, he had listened to me for once. I should have known.
I just said "Great Idea Honey"!! And gave him the "look".
He and the boys get out and load it onto the card, the bellboy gives us our ticket and we are on our way.
To Animal Kingdom.
I just knew it was going to be a wonderful day when we were parked in the very first parking spot. By golly someone had our backs today, we didn't have to park at the end of the row. NEVER have we parked in the FIRST spot.

We decided our first stop was going to be FOOD! We were starving. But it was only 10 and nothing opened until 10:30. So we hit ITTBAB. It was pretty cute, but the thing that pops out into your back is a wee bit rough. Gee! I was all ready for the stinkbug too, thanks to my wonderful dis friends!
It was time for lunch so we went to the closest spot. Flame Tree BBQ.
Oh my goodness, it was sooo yummy!
After lunch we got fastpasses for Everest. The line was only 20 minutes so we hopped in it. Mind you I am NOT a rollercoaster person by any means. But I thought this trip I'd just give it a try because I just don't know if it will be the last trip like this with my sons.
Woohoo! It was awesome.
It was awesome if I didn't look down while we were going up and it was awesome if I kept my eyes closed going down.

While we were waiting for out fast pass return we went through the Maharajah Jungle Trek.
It's so much nicer to do this when it's 85 degrees instead of 100. You enjoy it a little more.
Can you guess what these two were going to do before our very eyes?? Someone told them to get a room, cause they left!!
After the trek, we went to get fast passes for the Safari. Then went all the way back to ride Everest again. Well worth the walk. Can you find Robby?
If I remember right the reasone Matt and I aren't on this car is because while in line Matt kept telling me I was going to be really mad at him. I didn't understand why, but he wasn't going to tell me. We get to the front of the line, the CM sends Robby to his line and Matt says "We want to ride in the front."
So guess where I rode!! The biggest reason I wasn't very happy about this was because I didn't want Robby to have to ride alone. Oh and that we were UP FRONT!!
After Everest we went on the Pangani Forest trail.
I used it on a couple of our pix also. Just took them in to get framed and matted.
