Glad it's not true
That's cool. I'm the opposite. I shop with my values. If some one is a murderer, I'm not about to support them with my dollars. If a store has racist policies and unfair labor practices. No way in heck, am I going to support them continuing these policies.
That is a very rude and condescending thing to say. You are making it out like she is an awful person for shopping for the cheapest price. Vick may have done something wrong, but he did his time. Now he is doing more good than anyone else ever has for animal rights. Even if he is only forced to, he is still the face they need. Vick is a necessary evil.
He is a football player, that is his job. He is trying to pay off his debts anyway he can. Just let the man be.
Wow. Here is me reading through this thread

Now he is doing more good than anyone else ever has for animal rights.
For me, it really bothers me that the Eagles signed him, as I am from Philly. But at least you could say that Vick has a skill that someone really needs and therefor they gave him a second chance. Not many folks can play QB in the NFL ( and quite frankly, Vick is more exciting than good, and who knows if he can play at all anymore? )
Almost sounds like you are making excuses for the Eagles.:
Did you buy back your support of the team?![]()
Did I just read that correctly??? We ARE talking about Vick right? MICHAEL VICK??? Surely you jest...![]()
He makes me sick. I won't have anything to do with whatever he is involved in. He is one of the poorest excuses for a human being that I have ever seen. Whatever product or name he is with will not be in my house.
I had read online that Kendra Wilkinson's husband Hank Baskett lost his spot on the Eagles team because of Michael Vick. Kendra, the animal lover, was so mad. I don't blame her.
yes, Vick is being forced to work with animal right groups, but that doesn't take from the fact his involvement has more positive effects on the situation than anyone else has.
Yes Vick did an awful thing, but they are making sure he makes up for it and then some.

I guess it's pretty safe to say that you know nothing about animal rights.
So a title change for this thread is in order?![]()
Don't cry for Hank Baskett. He got picked up by the Colts two days later. He makes me sick. I won't have anything to do with whatever he is involved in. He is one of the poorest excuses for a human being that I have ever seen. Whatever product or name he is with will not be in my house.

And?? Not be sarcastic or rude but I'm sorry I'm just don't understand.
Why are we supposed to feel sorry for Vick or any criminal that does horrible things. You are known by your character and your reputation, that's why companies and personalities spend so much money on making sure that they keep good ones. That's why companies research how some thing effects their brand. If you get the reputation as a thief don't get mad when a bank doesn't hire you.
yes, legally he did his time but every one is now supposed to be HAPPY and welcome him back with open arms? Pleeeease....
Vick was an adult who CHOOSE to do the things he did, for what ever reason. Now he's upset because he's not feeling the love, gimme a break.
I believe in this country's justice system so I will defend Michael Vicks right to use his talents to make an honest living but no where does it state I have to respect, support or like the Guy and I also can choose how to use my purchasing power.
with all the media exposure he has given them, he has done more for it than anyone else. I am not saying what Vick did wasn't horrible, I am saying that everyone deserves to repent for their sins. You don't have to forgive him, but you should at least try to just ignore him. Out of sight, out of mind.
A harsh analogy is a child molester. No way should they be forgiven, but after they do their time, and if they move to a new place and don't do ANYTHING wrong, people shouldn't protest outside their houses, just ignore.
