Night of Joy Question

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here it goes:

We'll be in DH for a long weekend during Night of Joy. The planning was inadvertant and I know little about Night of Joy except that it's a Christian Music fest and that it causes MK to close at 6:00. Here are my questions:

1) How does it impact the crowds (if at all) during the day before the Park closes for the event?

2) Will Wishes still run in the evening? We were hoping to watch it while enjoying a beverage at the California Grill.
