A little over 2 months to go I need to start working on the t-shirts, but since I need to do 20, and have never done that before, I am intimidated, so I keep putting it off. Also, I need to do some research on US/IOA. I have been to Disney enough to know the deal there, but I have not been to US in years, and I have never been to IOA, so I should map out a plan for those parks. Also, I am debating on whether or not to go to Sea World (since they give us tickets). I have not been there in over 10 years, and the kids have never been. I especially think my 8 year old will love it, as she is really interested in "sea creatures", but my husband says knowing us, you will not be able to tear us away from Disney for a day to go to Sea World. I guess we will wing that part. I also need to start working on a tenative itenerary of what we have planned.

The 2 months will go by so fast! I did the same thing. I put off what intimidated me for the very last few days We loved Sea World. We had never been there before. The kids really enjoyed all of the creatures there and Ty loved the roller coasters. If you get an ice cream by the sharks they put it in this neat Shamu bowl. It is a cute souvenier

Hi Jen,

I'm a newbie, so going through all the PTR. So glad Nicky got his wish. We wentto Disney World for my youngest for her MAW and now my other daughter was granted one and since we had so much fun she wants to go back. You all will have a blast.

Leaving on Tuesday for Michigan (home state) to visit friends and family for 2 weeks. Lots of fun activities planned. Can't believe that by the time we get back it will almost be time for school to start (Aug 23rd) mixed feelings on that. Hate to see summer go, but it will be nice to get a break from kids and its getting closer to trip time
My mom is going to help me make the t-shirts in MI., and I will post a picture of them when they are done.

The past 2 times we took the kids to Disney (before Nicky got sick) I made countdown calendars for them and had them decorate it. It helps them better understand the concept of time and how many days left till the trip.

Its funny- you guys are going to MI the day after my step daughter comes back to GA from her mom's in MI! Our school starts Aug 9!!! About a week of summer left!

Sent you a PM on Mackinaw. PS. make sure you bring a sweater or sweatshirt for everyone. It can sometimes get chilly at night up there (even in the summer).

My kids start on the 9th too. So not ready for summer break to be over with.
