Nick's Make-a-Wish Trip!! Day Two updated! 2/28/09!

I have sooo much to update on.. Nick's send off party, and we got sooo many big give packages!! A couple came yesterday and I will post pics tomorrow, but I wanted to send out a couple of thank you's because while I do send out thank you cards for each one we recieve... some of you.... not mentioning names here.. lol Don't include your return address on them.

Anna, Disneymommieof2 Thank you so much for Noah and Nick's Mickey Pirate shirts.. as a matter of fact Noah is still wearing his even tho I told him to take it off. And Lucas picture is just adorable, Nick loved it!

Maroo... oh Mary, those bracelets are sooo beautiful! Wait until you guys see the pics of them. I love them. Kayla picked the blue one and I have the pink one.

Amy (not sure of screen name, sorry) The autograph books are a HUGE hit!!! The kids love them so much but I did have to take them away for fear of Nick scribbling in them everywhere.

Okay, these two things were REALLY hectic. We had to be out the door for the send off party but the kids insisted on opening the gifts. Nick wasn't even dressed and we were LATE. I think things got picked up that shouldn't have and now I can't find my sheet that had names on it. I did get the thanks yous off but now they have disappeared.

SOo..... I am thanking Wendy for the adorable blue tinker-bell dress that Kayla is in love with. I hope that is right. If not, please correct me.

Kim (again.. sorry, don't know screen name) This one I am pretty sure if right because the box is still around. lol.. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the pencil roll ups! I can't believe all these things showed up just in two days. My postman is probably not very happy with us. LOL.. oh well!

Disboutiquers, you are all so talented and amazing, we are very overwhelmed with the generosity considering you don't even know us. That is a feeling we have been feeling a lot lately. Hugs to you all..

Oh Amy, can't wait to read and see all the pictures from Nick's Going away party....We so need to chat again soon, but I am sure you are going crazy with packing and all, so if you do have time, than by all means let me know, if not, we will HAVE to catch up when you get home...I can't wait to hear all about it, and of course see pictures. Jake is also looking forward to seeing the pictures as well...

By the way, something odd happend when we were walking down the hall in the hospital tonight. Jake and I were walking Kev and Hannah down to the lobby as they were leaving, and he was holding his big Mickey Mouse stuffed animal with him. Than this other family that is inpt walks by us and the mom says to Jake " I love your mickey, did you get that on your wish trip"... Of course Kev and I looked at each other like "does it say MAW DISNEY all over Jake's face or something"... than I said, "No, but his MAW is at the end of March", she than proceeded to tell us that they just got back from their MAW to Disney and just how amazing it was....and the one thing she kept saying was make sure you bring enough bags to bring stuff home, as they leave you stuff everyday at your Villa....of course Jake's mouth dropped to the floor when he heard that....

I hope to catch up with her more tomorrow since they went thru our same chapter, but I wanted to share that with you, I am sure you already knew to pack more bags to bring stuff home, but I had no idea they leave gifts for the kids everyday....

Anyway....I am just so excitied for you and all the other families on here that are going the same time....how cool is that.... I hope the end of March gets here soon.... you are all getting me so excitied

Okay, I am going to post the ones that got into Photo bucket last night and then tonight work on getting some of the other ones in.

I have been trying to explain to the boys, I don't have time to do laundry everyday between now and the trip so they can wear these and the pirate shirts to school all the time.

Well, we are going to have to wait on the rest. Photobucket crashed in the middle of two uploads last night and I have partial openings of things but no more of everything all together. Which means that my photobucket is now a total mess and nothing is in order. grrrr.. sigh. Oh well.

We leave at 5:30 am Monday.. Our limo will be here at 3am! Home sorts stinks.. we leave GKTW at 10am for a noon flight home, will arrive home at 5pm.

yes, that is his natural hair. I don't like the way it lays because there is no natural part to it. But it looks good on him, he just can't grow out his bangs because they just fall straight.
