Nicki....and her trusty side kick Sir Get Me In (a restaurant that is..Todd!)
And I'm so glad you added the () around your "trusty side kick Sir Get Me In"...because you know TigerKat and I would have been at you in a heartbeat!
Ok we will scratch Brown Derby...you convinced me! I figured you and TigerKat would have fun with that one...minds trolling the gutters hmmm?
Fabulous job as usual Nicki
Can't wait to hear about your next trip. I've always wanted to go to WDW in December![]()
I'm sad you had to cancel your trip at the end of the month, I was hoping we could somehow hook up!!!
I see my reputation precedes me....![]()
I'm jealous, a Dec trip, RPC at the Grand. The ultimate treat. Mid afternoons stuffing yourself in the RPC lounge with warm scones, devonshire cream and strawberry preserves. I had signature dining ressies and I would have gladly given them to someone else so I could just stuff those scones in my mouth all afternoon. The greatest treat was relaxing in the lounge and listening to the groups preforming musical programs in the lobby 3 stories below. I've stayed at the GF many, many times and nothing compares to a Christmas stay there. You and Todd will have a ball. (Oh, I hear the sushi is good that time of year!!!) Jane
Nicki,
Just finished up reading your reviews. Il Mulino looked wonderful, especially the white pizza and pasta carbonara.
We bought a bottle of Rosa Regali at Italy while we were there. The larger bottle was $24.99. While it's cheaper to buy at home it was better buying it that way than by the glass. We took it back to our hotel and put it in the fridge to chill. Saturday ( 9/26 ) night we were debating going back out when a huge thunderstorm struck. So we sat in our hotel room, sipped Rosa Regali and watched Meet the Robinson's on Disney TV. Do we know how to live it up on vacation or what?

Oh no! It's over!

Hi Nicki,
Long time lurker on all of your dining reviews. Just wanted to say that, as usual, these reviews and pictures are GREAT!!! Keep them coming!
Stacie
Oh no! It's over!
Thank you for your great reviews and I am looking forward to your December trip!
I was thinking the same thing, really sad you had to cancel your trip at the end of the month, sad for you and for us.
Nic, I know, I'm going off topic here...but I know you enjoy that too.Was Mark's pic/remarks ever in the paper?
Have you tried the pumpkin spice Chai tea yet? Is it "pumpkin" flavoured or "spice" flavoured.
Every year TimHorton's up here in Canada offers "Pumpkin Spice" tea and I always buy one and am so disappointed since it's just cinnamon and nutmeg tea, no pumpkin flavour at all.
I was hoping if the twinnings is good to pick up a box at the end of the month.
I'm interested to hear how the tea is too!!
Just thought I'd come out of Lurkdom and and tell you that I enjoyed your reviews! This is the first of yours that I've read, and I just might have to go back and read the others. Thanks!
Loved your reviews and pictures.
Thanks for sharing.![]()

Joining in for another of your drool reviews !!!At Chef's I had the macaroni and chese off the fixed menu along with the onion soup and it was very good !! I agree the soup could have been hotter !! The creme brulee was wonderful !! I want to try the boulubaise next time I have heard it is god and the apple dessert was also wonderful last time I had it !!
Hi,
Can I ask you a non-food question? We are currently booked at WL for 8 nights next Sept. mainly since they offer bunk beds so our kids (12 & 9) will have seperate beds. Now, I looked at WDW website and saw that we could stay at BC for only aobut $250 more. We would have to get a room with daybed for DD to sleep on. Pls give me your comments on both hotels.
thanks
Janet
