Today we leave. But 1st there is some final Disney fun to be had.
We have a PS at Chef Mickeys for a character breakfast. We have alot of fun and Nick finally waves the napkin and I have it on film.
We pack up, check the baggage including our jackets, since remember yesterday it was almost 90 so who needs a jacket? We step outside its 50 and windy.
Oh well that's ok since we are on the way to WL to buy a DVC jacket for JB. I will just pick up a sweatshirt.
We take the boat to WL that place is great, we will have to stay there sometime. Jb gets his jacket and I get a sort of sweater pullover. It is really warm. I will wind up wearing it alot at night while I work the graveyeard shift in the computer room, it gets cold.
We take the bus to EPCOT and hit a few of our favorites and monorail back to the hotel. Once again we are 1st in line and want to ride in the front when this lady tries to push her kids in the front cab before us. This time I speak up we want to ride in the front too!!!!!! and we were 1st. We get to ride and the driver has to have a long conversation with that family about why we get to ride since we were 1st. The mom then sends that dad to find out why they can't ride in front. I think the dad thinks the driver is going to kick us out since we don't have any kids just so they can ride. Think again. We tell the driver how we have been trying to get in front and getting cut off all week. He said it happens all the time and someone even spit on him before because they were mad that they didn't get to get in front. Some peolpe. That's not being a very good mouseketeer!!!!!!
Back at the hotel gift shop Nick buys a monorail and I get a big pooh for my friend who is just about to have her 1st baby any day now. We collect our luggage and wait for our driver. The trip home goes fine. We watch DVD's on the portable DVD player Nick got me. When the battery on that runs out we watch DVD's on his laptop. Maybe I should change his name to gadget boy. As much as I tease him about his gadgets I really do like them.
BUMMER we are home. We are in Southern Calif. I guess it could have been worse if we had to go home to somewhere cold.
After about 2 days at work I couldn't stand all the ad's about the opening of DCA so we booked a 3 day stay for our anniversay in June. We bought a package and when we got the paper work today one of the things we are getting is "Exclusive Fast Pass"
Hmm maybe it is that front of the line for resort guests people have been talking about. We will see. We will be staying at the Grand Californian. I will let you know how it turns out. Hopefully there will be enough time for them to get the bugs out before we get there. BTW it opens TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our next WDW trip won't be till next Jan. It will be nice since we banked this years DVC points to next year we will have double points. The plan is 3 nights at BWV one bedroom / 4 day cruise on the wonder/ 5 days at the new animal kingdon lodge. We won't have time to think about it for awhile since we both have really big projects starting at work that will take us thru Sept. And we are both in school since we work in the information technology field there is always something new to lean.
I hope you enjoyed reading the trip report as much as I enjoyed writing it. I promise for those who wanted to see my fax to the room controller that got us the great room I will get it up here this week.
