My children have been asking to go here for the longest time. We went to disney in dec , so I thought April might be a ggod time to try this hotel out, BUT... The rates are so high. over $500.00 per night. Is it really worth it? it's higher then a deluxe at disney. Are there special codes?
Also, if I stay there, can my parents visit us there?

I found a rate of $330 (?) for a 2 bedroom suite at Nick Hotel in June '07. I think we may only stay there 1 night before we move on-site at WDW.

Do you have to go this April?? We are going in April and I booked online in October and got a 2 room kid suite for 188/night. I'm just thinking if you can book further in advance maybe you'd get a better price. And no your parents can't come visit you only guest of the hotel are allowed on site.

Code: Nick Fun Special (1-800-462-6425) 4/22 - 5/24 One bedroom $129/nt with 3rd night free; add $20 per night to upgrade to kidsuite (you still have to pay the add'l $20 per night resort fee). Must reserve by 2/16

I just called and asked for the Nick fun special and was told it was available for May 10 but it was only for a one room suite. She then told me that there was a Local Resident Special for $129 for 2 rooms. You do not have to live there so check it out!

You don't have to live in Florida to get the local resident special?

No I do not live in Florida and the agent suggested it to me since the other special they only had the king rooms available. Ask if they have any specials if these do not work out.

The Nick Hotel is owned by Holiday Inn so if you have priority points you can use them there.

We stayed there on New Year's Eve this year. It was okay. Not worth over $200 though. We had been looking forward to it for a long time as well. My sister is really into the Nick cartoons. It was kinda cool and all but not worth that much money. We paid $295 a night. If you have really small kids they might like it a bit more.
