Taking my family to the Nick Hotel this summer. Was wondering if any of you that have been there can let me know a bit more about it? Obviously I've seen the slides.. but what should be be sure to do while we are there? My 6 year old loves the slime.. is there a way for him to get slimed while there?

Would like info on.. eating.. activities, room layouts (we have a kids suite).. best slides.. etc..

We stayed there last year for 3 nights. The kids wouldn't leave the hotel to eat they loved it so much. I saw other kids crying because their parents were trying to get them to leave to go to the parks. Enough said about how much your kids will love it if they are into Nick.

The rooms are a nice size, but not overly large. We also had the two bedroom suite. The room we had had a set of bunkbeds and we brought our inflatable bed to use for our DD. She wanted to stay in the Spongebob room with her brothers. This room had a small table and chairs, small closet, and a built in shelves with the TV combo. Be sure to bring your own PS2 games as they have a player there.

The other room had a King bed with a nice size closet, desk and chair, end tables and build in drawers with the TV combo above.

The living room had a lounge chair and pull out sofa, end tables and small kitchen table with chair. We brought the kids table and chairs into the living room so we could eat together. There is a full size fridge, microwave and stove top. The storage is limited, but you can make it work. We kept drinks in our cooler with towels on the top and the ice lasted at least two days.

The bathroom was a pretty good size and had a nice storage area behind the door. Nothing too special. My daughter still has the Nick shampoo and conditioner from this trip. She can't part with it!

The slides and pools were a lot of fun. My kids played at least three games of mini-golf everyday. In the afternoon at the pool they have a game/contest and the kids get to get slimed at the end. Be sure to have your camera with you.

In the evening they have two different shows that you can participate in. We did this each night. We weren't in the show (you can sign up for it), but we had a great time participating in the audience. Be sure to sign up in advance for the shows.

Our favorite part of the trip was watching Spongebob run through the foodcourt area with DS4 swim ring over his arm. DS was chasing SB and SB wouldn't give it back to DS. We were all laughing so hard, we didn't even get a picture. It was just great. :lmao:

Also, there is a computer area in the foodcourt where you can play Nick games on-line. This was great for when it rained or we just needed a little down time. They also have crafts each day that you can do for a small fee.

Be sure to pick up schedule of events when you check in. This gives you all the details. By the end of our stay we were ready to move into our "pool only" to rest up for the next week at the parks. Our three days there were exhausting but lots of fun!

Have a great time!

Thanks for the great info! We are all very excited, and can't wait to get there!!!

I see you have a taller kid (though not sure how tall!). Just had to add that I slept on one of the kids bunk beds last year when visiting my family that was staying at the Nick Hotel...and I was 23! So I think the room should be a good size for your kids. :goodvibes

They had a sliming using the water slide big bucket that usually dumped water. i believe it was everyday around 4:45. Then at each pool they play games at a certain time and the losing group sits and gets slimed.
They also have characters in the mall lobby every day maybe from 12:30-2
