There have been so many great CM moments, I'll just list a few highlights:

1-Waitperson at HBD: To celebrate a birthday (Jim) in our group, he gave us 4 Fantasmic Dinner Package passes!

2-CM at MK: Prior to opening, he stopped to talk with us at a waiting rope to Tomorrowland. After asking what ride we were hitting first (Buzz Lightyear) he wished us a good day. Upon exiting Buzz and heading back toward the bridge, I heard my name being called. He was running after our group to give us 6 fast passes for Space Mountain!

3-Epcot CM at hat booth: Noticed I was wearing a particulart pin he liked and asked if I had it's mate. I didn't even know it HAD a mate. He then pulled one out of his pocket and gave it to me - just because!

4-CM at MK: Noticed Jim wearing a "Today is my Birthday" button and stopped us to sing Happy Birthday. The reason this is special is that Disney no longer allows CM's to anything for birthdays except at character meals, etc. This gentleman was OUTSIDE the park and was off duty & headed home. But he stopped, bowed, sang in a beautiful baritone voice, bowed again, and went on his way!

5-Waitperson at California Grill: Heard us mention Jim's birthday when we checked in for dinner. Again, they are not supposed to make any 'hoopla' so she went out of her way to find us after we were seated at our table and brought a handful of 'pixie dust' to decorate our table.

6-Hostess at Cinderella's Castle: During our breakfast at the castle, this lady came to our table and presented Jim with 2 etched champagne flutes as a 'special treat' for his 60th!

7-CM's that seat people for Fantasmic: Allowed us to sit 'anywhere we wanted' because we were the first guests to arrive with dinner passes (thanks to the CM at HBD). She even suggested the bench seats directly in front of a large wall section so we could lean back during our wait! What a grand back-saver that was. She also talked with us a great deal and told us many things about MGM in general and the show in particular.

8-Segway Tourguides: Friendly, helpful and encouraging all through our Segway adventure. Took us on a 'side-tour' because we had progressed so well and we got to see...well, I can't tell you because they made us promise...but it was great!

9-CM who does Goofy at Epcot: On a day that I BADLY needed a pep-up, he made sure that the chubby middle aged lady standing among all the munchkins got a big hug under the shade tree in Japan! Okay, I know he has to be nice to everyone (and there was that one instance of supposed groping by a now-unemployed Goofy) but HEY, this is my thank you to CMs & I want to include him here! He could have just patted my head or put his arm around me, but I told him I really needed a hug and I got several and it made my afternoon.

10-CM elevator operator at Tower of Terror: Mobbed with people on this particular day, we really wanted our friends to sit in the front for their 1st ToT experience. When we found ourselves about to be placed in a slot for the back, I started to say something to the CM when he casually said "why don't we have you folks wait for the next elevator...we have to make room for the ghosts waiting to ride in this one." What a nice treat!

And a special thanks to all the CM's who patiently listened to our stories, answered our questions, told us where to find the restrooms, rides, food places, etc., and to those who politely but FIRMLY enforce the parade route seating!
:thewave: And finally, a thank you to a WDW guest. At MK on a Spectro parade evening (which means great crowds), I was making my way from the train station where we were seated up Main street to by a hot dog. Somewhere along the way my Quick & Casual coupon had dropped from my pocket. Since that was the only form of payment I had, I quickly backtracked with the bizarre hope that it was laying on the ground somewhere - yeah, right!
As I was crossing the hub toward the base of the train station stairs, a man waved his arms to get my attention, then held up the voucher. He hurried over and explained he had seen the voucher fall when I had pulled my sunglasses from my pocket, but he couldn't get to either the voucher or me in time. A lady walking right behind me picked it up, looked at it, then put it into her purse. He actually approached this lady and suggested she give him the voucher and he would catch up to me and return it - and she did!
But by that time I had disappeared into the crowd. So he WAITED - right there in the middle of the street by the hub - for the almost 10 minutes it took me to realize it was missing and come back looking for it. I offered to bring him a beverage or something but he said no thanks, he was just doing the right thing.
So THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO DO THE RIGHT THING. It may not always be noticed and usually goes unhearlded, but know that it is appreciated.
Gotta love Disney CMs and all the happy guests, too!
