RUN to your nearest Wal-Mart. I just bought a beautiful Snow White dress for $19.77 at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. They are very good quality. The dresses were very picked over. There was only one Snow White and one Sleeping Beauty left. I think there must have been Cinderella also but they were already gone. I also bought the Snow White tiara for $5.46. They had all the accessories for all the princesses at great prices. It was in the toy department. I think they must have just started carrying these dresses because I haven't seen them before. Just wanted to pass this along!

Thanks for the info! I think dressing my DD3 as a Disney princess at Magic Kingdom sounds like such fun. Has anyone done this before? Is it a good idea or should I just stick with a character t-shirt?

I also saw these, and they are very nice, but my Wal Mart only had small ones. I'd say it was a 2T-4T size. I've already got my DD a Costco Snow White one and I think it's worth the extra $10 to give her room to grow. It was hard to pass up the accessories - those seemed way cheaper than what TDS offers!

By all means dress up your kids! The cast members really take notice and make your disney day even more special! In past years, my daughter has worn her Cinderella dress and matching hair bow to the princess breakfast in the castle and wow-ed all of those princesses!! Cinderella herself was especially touched and surprised!!
Another time, she dressed as Pocahontas complete with matching jewelry and slippers and wore her long hair loose down her back just like Pocahontas. We caught up with her at her show in the Animal Kingdom and a CM insisted we stay and meet with her after the presentation. My daughter got a "meet and greet" , got her autograph book signed and we took pictures; it was a nice extra-touch of pixie dust!
Years later, it is times like those my daughter still remembers and talks about. Indeed it is worth the extra effort to make some cherished family memories of your disney vacation!

Just a note to those who don't have a Wal-Mart near them, Target has the same Princess Dresses for $19.99!!!! Unfortunately my Target didn't have the accessories yet, but hopefully soon!!

No, actually they're in the Barbie aisle. I think they're gearing them toward "dress-up" for now.

I don't suppose there were any minnie costumes too? DD wants minnie for the next WDW trip.

Checked out our Wal Mart and Target and boy was it slim pickins... Target had one left and Wal Mart had about 6 (no Tinkerbell or Cinderella) Want to get one for my DD6 for a surprise for MNSSHP but am worried about it fitting. All I could see in the way of a size is "For ages 3 and over". Guess I will have to get one and let her try it on, but keep it aside for WDW. YEAH...LIKE THAT WILL GO OVER WELL!!! :D
