Nice cheap hotel near MCO

We are considering flying in the evening before our package starts at WDW. Since our flight would be getting in pretty late we are considering just spending the night near the airport before heading to WDW.

Can anyone recommend a place???

Pools etc dont matter since we are getting in and going to bed getting up and heading to WDW.

We've allways had good luck with La Quinta Inn and Suites Airport North. They have a shuttle bus and a free breakfast. Nothing fansey (sp?) but clean and a great price!

We've used priceline and got the Marriott At the Airport two times for under $45. (which is probably cheaper than those other hotels and better quality)

When we got the marriott we booked it about a week before we travellled. My husband did get the comfort suites once too..

I second priceline by the airport. You'll get a better hotel for less money than if you do priceline near WDW.

We often do the Priceline thing in the MCO area for late night arrivals. If you decide to try that be sure to bid on a 3* property...all of the 3*'s have complimentary shuttle service 24/7...some of the 2 and 2.5* properties stop their shuttle service at 9PM, 11PM or midnight....so you are better off paying a few $$ more for a 3* and having the airport shuttle.

All of the 3* hotels that Priceline books at in that zone are very nice and all are frequented by airline flight crews, so the shuttles are quick and efficent.
