Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings

Chicago was up 16-3 early in the 4th quarter. Minnesota scored 14 points in 4th to go ahead 17-16. The second Viking touchdown/extra point came with about 50 seconds remaining.

Alas, the Bears kicked a last second field goal to win 19-17.

There were TONS of Bear fans there, including in our hotel.

As a Pats fan going all the way back to the 70's... The time of no Super Bowls and steel bleacher seats... I thought the Pats would get 9+ wins and even bet a buddy $50 about that.

I'm happy to say, I'll be collecting this Friday

Pleasant surprises.

Da Bears. Who'd have thought they'd be 8-3 and atop the NFC North.

The Niners. Really they should be 2-9 considering all the injuries.

The Patriots. Of course when you play the Titans, the Saints, the Jets, The Dolphins, the Raiders, the Browns, The Falcons, the Bengals, and the Panthers, you're going to rack up some wins.


Biggest Disappointments.
The Giants.. Did I expect them to make the playoffs? No. But not like this. Not like this. First team eliminated.
The Titans. You get the first draft pick and you still only have one win? Now I'm not expecting playoffs here. But I did expect them to be a bit better. They are listless and absolutely boring.
The Vikings. Who had the Bears in first and the Vikings in last at this point? Not me.
The Commanders. Never think you're going to be great next year simply because you made it to your conference title game. Especially if the other team hangs 55 on you and you only get 23.
