Next Southwest Booking Window Question

The schedule opens up through March 7 next week. Of course we are going March 1-8, flying out of New Orleans. If the price is good, should I book my first leg or wait until the next window opens and book it all then? We prefer the early flight so that we can get there early. Do prices normally start to go up? Thanks!

Our upcoming trip straddled two release dates for SW as well. We booked the flight there as soon as the date opened, not because I was worried about the price going up, but I liked the available time for the non stop flight. Once the next set of dates was released, we booked the return. It worked out fine.

Agree, book separately. We have done so before and it also worked out well.

If you plan on flying into or out of New Orleans for Mardi Gras, you must book your flights the day they are released or they will sell out. WGA fares typically sell out the day they're released. I'll be up at 5 am waiting...
