I'm disappointed, though, that they're not using PP's idea to call Tom's show DISHeveled.
DW and I always laughed when, during NFNS, they would show "Unemployed Chef" under his name. We thought that would be the perfect title for his show.
I really enjoyed her show. She also used an endearment in her pilot, so I don't think it was a big deal. Although I hope as she gets more comfortable, she loses some of the giggle.
Loved the recipes, particularly the "ice cream without an ice maker" one. (Didn't need the "my friends are coming over" conceit; we don't need her to have a reason to cook, other than the show!)
!
Well, at least when Ina does it, the friends do come over and you watch them all eat!I also don't like the friends are coming over thing either. I don;t like that artificial reason for a cooking show, Ina does it too and it makes me nuts

I don't like that either. There is no making me happy
Aarti is already working on her Season 2, so I guess that means her show did indeed do well.
Season 1 of the show that the winner of NFNS gets is always the same number of episodes afaik. It is determined before the season begins, as part of the rules of the competition. Given that they don't know who's going to win, nor really have a good idea how good any of the competitors are going to get after going through the competition, it seems reasonable to keep the number of episodes in the Season 1 pretty low.Season 2 - LOL. That was one short first season.
I wish there was some way to watch past seasons. I'd love to see Guy Fieri work his way up through the ranks.
