I already have my upcoming December trip at Saratoga Springs which I'm looking forward to - and had also already booked February for a stay at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness. I usually have plenty of points and end up with some to bank, but for my 2024 use year I ended up borrowing a few points as I had a few extended day trips last year - it was only 35 points which didn't sound like a big deal, but as I booked my 2026 trips, I needed to make sure I was staying under my point total so I wouldn't have to borrow again - this use year will be 4 trips, and all my normal 4-night stays. Booking the Cabins at Fort Wilderness with their great low point charts is a perfect way to stay under, so aside from my February stay there, I decided to book my June stay there as well. Then for September, I prefer Boardwalk (my home resort) for easy access to Food & Wine, so I got a Boardwalk View ressie for the 2nd week. I was worried about having 35 less points to work with, but with the two Cabin stays, I even ended up with 30 points to roll over to next use year. Worked out perfectly!
Now I need to get my golf cart rental for the June stay, and call member services with my room and building preferences for the June and September stays.
