If it's so bland how does Victoria and Alberts keep winning awards?

I myself don't think it's bland. It's definitely not amazing signature food but it's better than places like six flags and other theme parks.

It's obviously an exception that proves the rule. If it's not bland, why did you have to reach for the restaurant that is a tiny fraction of 1% of the guest reservations available? If you think that a majority or even a significant portion of the WDW restaurants are remotely like V&A then there is no use talking about it.

Well I don't think any other restaurants compare to V&A however I don't think they are all terrible either. Disney Springs has done a lot to improve its restaurant game adding multiple celebrity chefs and fine dining like STK and the Edison. The sit down restaurants in WDW are decent or just above average to most. Quick service o could agree with you is rather bland but based on recent menu changes Disney is at least trying to change it a little.

There are a few articles out there about China setting up a team aimed at cracking down on counterfeit Disney products in China. One article (I can't find again) highlights how successful Disney has been working with the Chinese government, such as arranging transit to the parks, weather reporting systems (for firework and parade safety) and setting up a Fire Station for the park.
Can't they just look for tags that say "Made in USA"?
:)

OK - I couldn't figure out what all of those are. What the heck is the brown thing?

Already got my adventurer's Club sign. Need to decide if I also need it in T-shirt form.

Star Wars and Frozen huh? I never would've guessed that.

If you want to move on, I suggest posting news rather than posting complaints about other people not posting news

wow...thanks for that.

And, actually, several have been posting news stories, as did I, about the recovery of the "lost" original Oswald first cartoon....

I find the variety of posts very interesting and often learn from them. Thanks to all who post here, but especially to those with real info to share.

Me neither. Splash Mountain log? I'm guessing the one at the bottom is a Disney Bus. I have no idea what the yellow and blue one are, or the white one with pink and yellow stripes on the side. The only ones I am sure of is Dumbo, Monorail, Either Casey Jr or more likely the WDW Rail Road, and the bus.
