Just found this video of some Rivers of light tests. This could be one great show.

It seems a little early for this stuff to be leaking, but hey, I'm glad to see they are already testing some components of the show.

I'm really excited about this show. I think it's going to be absolutely beautiful.

That's what I thought as well especially when the date on the video is from August. I was surprised I didn't find this earlier.

Correct this is from the D23 presentation, its not a leak
Interesting this is the first time I have seen this video. I've seen the pictures but never saw any video. People must've been too hyper from the Star Wars and toy story announcements that they forgot to talk about and share this footage.

Apparently there's some concern about how the animals will react so they've been testing stuff early to get them used to it.

Yes that is true. They probably won't react much to the water screens but the music that would be played throughout could have an effect.

I'm probably very solidly in the minority, but I'm waaay more excited for the AK enhancements (Rivers of Light, the nighttime Safari, and to a lesser extent...Pandora, etc.) than I am for Star Wars land.
im excited about the expansion because it changes DAk and the entire WDW resort and hopefully help with crowds at MK

I'm definitely a fan of the "potential" of animal kingdom and I like what they're doing...hopefully it continues with more much needed additions and updates...

But I'm not convinced this is gonna change things as much as you might guess. Zoos are still a tough sell and I don't think the majority of the audience loves the concept/theme.

It's still gonna be all about princesses and buzz light year on the property - if they really want to change that ...they can feel free to stop building Bibbidi bobbity boutiques and toy story shooters..

If I could pick what I'd like to see AK do over the next two years - would be to put a massive drain on the attendance at studios and Epcot...and be a catalyst for expedited time schedule on improvements desperately needed there. Don't think that will happen though.

I'm fine with other people not loving it so long as all that stuff is available for me.

Pandora won't be a Star Wars type game changer, but the upside for AK is huge I think. The extension of park hours alone will likely significantly boost park revenue. It also has the potential to set a modern standard for theming. I would argue that AK is the best themed US park (Disney or otherwise) already but a modern expansion at WDW that pushes the theming envelope will set a standard Disney can't easily ignore for Star Wars and future expansions.

I don't understand why they don't do something like a "silent disco". Give everyone headphones that would allow you to hear the music with the show. If you prefer your own they broadcast the music over a short-range that anyone could pick up on their bluetooth enabled headset. This way, everyone can set their own volume and you don't disturb the animals.
