It's probably just some concrete work and refurbing nothing too crazy.

Yes I think the Swan is also getting the same work done right now. Also think the French Quarter had something similar done a couple months ago.

It's just because D23 news was enough to necessitate individual spinoff threads. I'm sure this will be back to normal in a few weeks. It is a little hard to keep up with though and I fear I'm missing out on some big stuff.

Late 2017 Toy story land before end of fiscal year.

2019 SW soft open in summer but something else is expected to take another year and open in summer 2020.

Opening in 2020-21 the unannounced...

Hmm... sounds a bit like wishful thinking, but can't say I wouldn't be happy about it. I'm personally expectingToy Story for 2018 and SW for 2020-21.

That would actually be fantastic! Two years from start of construction to opening I think is indeed a reasonable timeline. (Sure there are others here that disagree.) But based on past practice it would be pretty impressive, which makes me hesitant to believe it. If it IS the case, we need to see work before the end of this year. (Fiscal 2017 ends September 30th, 2017.)

Yeah - I thought it was a new TS restaurant also. Good easily be an incorrect wording from those folks.

If they start to notice that DHS numbers are decreasing, they'll build faster. The good news is, TSL doesn't need many show buildings and most of the elements seem pre-built.

Well and based on the fact that rumors are they will use existing buildings in some form in Star Wars land I think two years is possible.

There is more for DHS that has not been announced. The plot that LMA sits on is not likely going to used for toy story or Star Wars so....
