It's just because D23 news was enough to necessitate individual spinoff threads. I'm sure this will be back to normal in a few weeks. It is a little hard to keep up with though and I fear I'm missing out on some big stuff.
That would actually be fantastic! Two years from start of construction to opening I think is indeed a reasonable timeline. (Sure there are others here that disagree.) But based on past practice it would be pretty impressive, which makes me hesitant to believe it. If it IS the case, we need to see work before the end of this year. (Fiscal 2017 ends September 30th, 2017.)
If they start to notice that DHS numbers are decreasing, they'll build faster. The good news is, TSL doesn't need many show buildings and most of the elements seem pre-built.
