I still think that's not the franchise they should go for for a ride. That's what made pre-Comcast Universal feel so dated. Their selection of IP felt old rather quickly.

True, if you think about Jaws, King Kong, Back the Future then Simpsons, Mel's Diner, Beetlejuice, Blues Brothers ...

But as a theme park visitor I care almost nothing about the age of the IP and everything about the quality of the attraction ... theming, thrills, music, etc.

Maybe the IP makes a bigger difference for souvenirs, meet-and-greets and themed meals ... but I just walk past those. "Next ride!"
