I'm guessing Imagineering has a division to develop Marvel attractions, just like Star Wars does. According to the rumors Marvel is coming to DCA, and even if that isn't the case, there are Marvel rides coming to Hong Kong and possibly Paris.
How is HKDL doing anyways? Can Disney justify a second gate, or is there a Walt Disney Studios future for the resort?
Also, I'm quite excited about the idea of Disney developing Marvel rides. I like Spiderman at Universal, but I'm not a huge fan of screen based attractions, so hopefully there's something cool in the works at Disney.
Hmmmm....
#1 no surpirse.
#2 - I don't really get. I know someone that went to that park, and it's kind of undersized, and I thought their was already work going on for adding to it. A second park seems premature.
#3 - That sounds about right. They don't want VWL opening until the PVB is sold out (or almost sold out) but I don't really get how the VWL is going to work. Can they charge $170+ per point at a resort that has units that you can by for half that price on resale? Or do they end up with TWO separate DVC resorts at WL. (The contract lengths will clearly be a differentiating factor, but stil. )

HKDL is doing much better then ever before. There are concerns that Shanghai Disney and other tourist headwinds for Hong Kong could hit, but overall the trajectory is good. They added and are adding multiple new lands. Toy Story, Grizzly Gulch, and Mystic Manner have all launched, and the Stark Expo Land will be opening next year. Attendance has grown rapidly over the last few years, but has slowed as there's a break between launching new attractions. Also they're continuing to add hotel rooms, with the new Disney Explorers Lodge coming soon. Hong Kong wants to be competitive with Shanghai, so don't expect the park 2 to be anything less than great.
