Really cool idea if there was going to be a real, functional highline, but don't understand why the idea wasn't just scrapped when the lawyers poo-poo'd it. As accent pieces, they just look like a complete afterthought sporadically spewed about and don't really fit with the West Side theme.

The pictures I've seen of the "highline" pieces appear to offer some much needed shade. I wish it was fully functional, but happy to have shade with plants and a seating area.
It DOES look like it, doesn't it? I suppose Disney wouldn't brag about repurposing it, since UNM was so disliked, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Disney, UNI and most parks and entertainment venues reuse old items for the shows and attractions. Nothing new there.
We always find it fun to notice a item we found in other attractions. The biggest one we have found is from DL. The COP was changed over to America Sings back during the 1970's, a great show that lasted about 5 years. They then brought back the COP. Then low and behold many of the animatronics figures, showed up in the Steamboat scene of WDW Splash Mountain.
