Actually I think it's really picked up pace the last few weeks. It did look the same for a long time but it's really starting to take some shape.Update on the hub in MK: http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/2014/10/magic-kingdom-hub-and-bypass-update.html I'm glad these ppl are detailed oriented, cause it all looks exactly the same as it did to me a few weeks ago. Under the sea journey of the little mermaid will close Feb. 2nd for a month long refurb opening on March 6th. This most likely means that the ride is getting the same upgrades that DCAs version got, which was a large improvement.

On disneys end this is fantastic for them all the data they can collect and having everything on one system. For the consumer it hasn't been the best but has gotten better.Interesting quote on the MyMagic+ Award: "MyMagic+ was a rarity among judges in that it won in an immediate, unanimous decision," Fast Company said on its website. "That's no doubt because it's a peek at a smarter, more automated future, with applications beyond the theme park."" The people who understand this technology know what a fantastic thing this is going be when fully utilized.
It's mainly lighting changes, changes to Ariel like her hair and other various changes to make the ride look better. These are all things that should have been done from the beginning not in a refurb.So...what exactly is different between that and what we have in WDW? I've been on both and saw a noticeable difference. Am I missing something?

Here's a list I found of the changes that DCA gotAriel already has the flowing/moving hair that looks like it was underwater, I thought. I didn't see much different, but I haven't been on it in several months.
Here's a list I found of the changes that DCA got
A number of static fish were added
A picture of King tritons castle was added before the under the sea sequence
The under the sea sequence received new black lights to make it a traditional dark ride
Other scenes received black lights
Ariels hair received a new shine
In the kiss the girl seen Ariel received real hair rather than the rubber or plastic hair
