News Round Up

I want to say that I would have no problem with them installing a group of children focused rides at DHS - as long as that's not the ONLY thing they do. That park is sadly lacking in small children's entertainment, especially it you don't want to spend your entire day meeting characters or frantically trying to find your child amongst blades of grass.

Mater's actually would be a great ride to transport to DHS. I think it is tons of fun for what it is. (A "whip" ride.) However, I am not sure this rumor is very realistic. WHY and HOW would you re-theme it to Woody's roundup? First off, you already have a Toy Story ride THERE...so unless you plan on an entire Toy Story themed area (not unprecendented I know there is one in Shanghai) that doesn't make sense.

In addition, the way the ride works is there is the front portion of the vehicle (the tractor) and then the back portion of the vehicle (the ride car). This causes the "whip" effect. What in the Toy Story would you get this. You have Bullseye - but people don't get towed behind Bullseye, they RIDE him. :confused3

Eh, I'm probably getting too carried away about a rumor.

They could make it a wagon or stage coach pulled by Bullseye and call it "Woody's Round-up". Just because it wasn't in the movies doesn't mean they can't make it. If you didn't know about the Cars version, would you be able to guess what the ride vehicle was?

I was thinking it would be woodys roundup as well.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I guess you could do that. I more think of why would they put a Toy Story themed ride next to a Toy Story themed ride. This is not very common at all. UNLESS they are going to put in a completely Toy Story themed land. Which to me would be a bit disappointing.

The strongest rumors say multiple toy story kiddie rides with a cars one thrown in there some where. As well as Star Wars expansion...

My thoughts exactly. An expansion to Pixar Place sounds way more exciting to me than a Toy Story land. But maybe that's just me. Something similar to DCA, but better planned and not as spread (DCA has Monsters Inc., Cars, Bugs, Toy Story and Nemo but they are spread all over the place).

Add The Incredibles/Monsters Inc./Any upcoming Pixar film to Pixar Place and you get a great land for the whole family.

Completely agree but it keeps sounding like mostly toy story clones and a c ticket type cars ride maybe. If it were a true pixar place I think it would be great.

The tram that squirted water out at the front of the backlot tour entrance is now behind walls and most likely leaving for good.

Here is a video of the Frozen Holiday Wish castle lighting

I think this show has lived up to the predecessor and is actually better but as always disney can do better.

Idk not being the Disney defender or anything but they really did well on this show. You can tell the show was thought out and planned out really well. Overall I applaud them for their efforts on this one.
