OK - so what do we think the latest timetable is to say goodbye to those walls in front of the castle and those scrims on the side turrets. 30-days? 60-days? Longer?

Everything has to be done in November because that's when permits expire. Based on how things are going September most should be done if not all.

OK, thanks. Fingers crossed for our trip 9/12 - 9/20. I don't mind some work - as work generally means improvements - but I never like seeing the castle like that.

I really like the improvements they are making to the hub. Haven't visited the MK in a while, so it'll be a pleasant surprise when I finally get to see it. What on Earth are those shelters for, though? I don't get them.

I don't think I would put a lot of weight on permit expiration dates; they can be reissued or extended. I think it will be finished by November though with all the holiday events coming up.

DAWM is supposed to reopens 8/20 so I would think if they want that to happen most of the walls around the castle should be gone by then

my trip starts 9/9, but Ditto.

Ours starts 9/3, I think that might be pushing it, but I'd love to have at least the green wall down in front of the castle. Our last trip had a bunch of construction going on in the hub, it would be nice to go this time with less stuff going on.

But I do LOVE what they're doing. I can't wait to see it finished!

That's just the castle stage walls. The new pathways and turrets likely won't be done by then. I'd definitely expect most if not all done in September.

Considering they announced and are making a big deal out of the new Villains castle stage show for MNSSHP, I'm pretty confident everything in the castle area will be done by the first party (September 15th). Dream Along with Mickey is reopening in about a week, so at least the walls will be down by then.
