Awesome video with Tony Baxter, Kevin Kidney, Jody Daly and the lead imagineer of the hatbox ghost. And yes there is an eventual plan to bring him to WDW.

Awesome video! So excited for the new movie and can't wait to see the Hatbox Ghost at some point!

We have a miceage update

http://micechat.com/108619-disneyland-rumors-starwars/

Star Wars is coming and going to take over toon town, circle d ranch and backstage offices. The horses and other animals from the ranch will move to a new location nearby and the horses will be trailered in daily. The backstage offices and rehersal halls will move to a 160,000 square foot office building bought by Disney last year. The pumba parking garage is expected to expand to have a capacity of over 8,000 spaces versus the current 5,000.

The majority of Star Wars land in the northern most part of the park will be inside massive show buildings meaning they won't have to close for fireworks. Star Wars in Anaheim will include multiple attractions with a mega E ticket that will use trackless vehicle technology.

Innoventions is becoming a version of the Star Wars launch bay that Shanghai is getting. A movie preview will be created for the captain EO theater. Both of these will open in the fall.

Marvel land behind ToT continue to move along. A new E ticket will anchor that land a hybrid between RnRc and transformers at universal.

Disney and the city have stopped their streetcar plan for the area. The current plan is to demolish the Carousel Inn and build a Sky bridge linking the 8 story parking structure. The first phase of the new pumba lot will open in 2018.

Some of this or maybe not much of any of it will be announced at D23.

I'm betting that whatever DHS gets for Star Wars or Marvel (or at least GOTG because Uni still has Avengers/Spiderman/etc) it probably won't be as good or unique as these two areas...

Hmmm..interesting. I guess I'm a little surprised at them moving the ranch, but it IS a prime expansion location, and actually a significant amount of land. IF they take that, plus Toontown, plus that first office building, that's a pretty massive land.

The DCA/Marvel land is nothing new, though this is the first I heard of a major E-ticket there...but good move by Disney. They have to get Marvel into the parks, at least in DLR!

I wonder how much of the Star Wars stuff will be the same at DLR and WDW? My guess is quite a bit. Too bad, original stuff on both coasts would be awesome!

Yes I agree. As for the marvel land they said last time that it would just be a re themed RnRc, but now it's a new ride altogether.

As for Star Wars on both coasts. I would think that yes there will be lot of similarities but I would have to think the DHS version would be a little bit bigger and maybe include one attraction that Disneyland doesn't get.

I don't see DHS getting marvel yet at least with the park redo.
