That's quite a bit of incentive for U.K. residents. I wonder if it means some form of dining plan is coming sometime soon for those of us in the states?

The GF is converting Big Pine Key (bldg #9) from hotel rooms to approximately 200 DVC studios which will be sold as part of the existing GFV condo association.

Wonder what building the NBA folks were using? They had to change enough stuff out, they could already be halfway converted to DVC spec.

UK residents tend to get quite a bit of incentive because they tend to stay for 14 nights. the 14 day ticket and memory maker are common incentives for UK residents, but the dining, gift cards and new 50th gift basket are bonuses

We stayed at The Grand in December. While we were in the DVC building, my friends were in Big Pine Key. We were in their room(s) several times, and they looked like normal resort rooms. Nothing seemed to be changed (at least not in their rooms)

I just read an article (not sure if that specific blog is allowed) but basically breaking it down and saying this was a mediocre deal and actually LESS $$$ than the dining plan offered. Something like 950$ was deluxe resorts so it works out to be so much a day, then all the way down to value was only 500$ for the 2 weeks.
