News Round Up 2020

Interesting how just for a week ... wonder if they will do like a rolling week if crowds still seem light, though also need to see impact once some passholder blackouts are past

Any idea if they are increasing capacity for this or just taking from the other buckets?

I would assume just taking from other buckets or the amount is already factored it to the current limits - I would be surprised if they are increasing capacity at all right now, but can't say for sure

That was my assumption as well. And if that’s the case, I don’t think many CMs will be getting in.

or their plans were to gradually up the numbers allowed thus opening more hotels, but feel they can't do that at this time.

I assume they are having staffing issues as well. No CP means a lot less labor available, and I'm sure that there are a good number of regular CMs who left the area when the closure became indefinite and furlough ran out.

Anyone else’s heart sink when they read this? I can’t imagine they’d start the project earlier than intended but maybe this was a “planned” malfunction.
Disney doesn’t do refurbishments out in the open. They take great care in putting up somewhat decorative boards, fences and scrims to keep refurbishments from site.

This closure was not planned.
