News Round Up 2020

How long does a ride have to be open before we are allowed to discuss it in the news thread? Are we allowed to mention SDD has launches, yet?
I think that’s a little different. RotR opening in December and the parks have been closed since March. It’s been open for roughly 4 months. It’s also very hard to get onto due to its reliability. RotR is also a revolutionary attraction.

Hard to put a number on it but more than 101 days of operation.

I still wouldn't post the ending to Frozen 2 here without a spoiler tag. That's about the same age.

Exactly! Yeesh!
It's not like a movie we could just go see or rent.
Some of us have to plan and save to actually take a vacation at Disney to experience it!
:rotfl:

Sigh. Finally decide to move to Orlando in November and now I'm unsure if we'll even be able to go to the parks at all. Don't have our APs yet since we're waiting until we can get the Florida resident rate.

Wonder if any days will even be open for passholders when we show up?

And before I get reamed by a response, yes, I know this isn't the worst problem in the world to have. But it is making me a bit antsy that we don't have our APs yet and I really hope things don't get booked up for the whole year in advance.

I have always felt like I’m a jinx. I have my own law based on Newton’s which states “anything that can go wrong, will go wrong for me.” I don’t regret moving here at all, but it’s crazy and I can’t help thinking it’s my fault that the year we move here, the parks shut down for the first time in 50 years, give or take half a dozen 1-2 day closures over the decades.

So YOOOOOUUUUUU did this...🤔
