Now that’s interesting. Could be the way they begin to handle WDW resorts as well. Instead of moving people and having them possibly pay the up charge, they may send an email like that waiving cancellation fees.Disneyland Hotel Guests Notified of Extended Closure, Asked to Take Action on Reservation

I liked it too! I could sense that it was on the bubble of being renewed or not and this whole mess probably made it really really easy to make those decisions. I didn't realize the ratings were so low (from the article linked). I feel like I have a curse for watching things that I like but last only a season or sooh man :-( I really liked this show
I picked up on that too! Can only imagine how crazy the phone lines are going to be! Welcome back 2010 at 7AM!!! I'm going to have to practice redialing!
As far as we know it’s only for dates through July 10th. Presumably they are still troubleshooting bugs in the reservation system and don’t want non-employees messing with it.I picked up on that too! It's also only some dining locations that will need to be called in is my guess unless they turn off the current functionality. Currently you can make online reservations for some Disney Springs locations during the dates that only some Disney resorts are open. Do you anticipate that availability being turned off or, will some still be made online and others require a call?As far as we know it’s only for dates through July 10th. I anticipate a pause of some length as everything is migrated. But Disneyland resort reservations were only off for something like 6 hours while they migrated. They only have 3 hotels, so I’m assuming it was simple. Hopefully DS restaurant migration will go like that. It's also only some dining locations that will need to be called in is my guess unless they turn off the current functionality. So many unanswered questions! I hope for those with trips booked in the near future that more details start to be released soon, especially about the reservation system!
Just to note. Ongoing conversations in two other threads about this.
