Is there a love button? I once had to spend 4 months disputing charges by Comcast before reporting to BBB. They got it straightened out in a week but it was still a ridiculous situation. We now pay more for ATT so we don't have to deal with Comcast.

Reports that all 4 Disney parks will open at 8am tomorrow

If you are at the parks and Epcot is in your itinerary. Can you inquire with CM's at Spaceship Earth if it is going to remain without having the riders faces put into the final scene.
I can't see any announcement for a change, and it seems like the "problem" has been going on too long for a "glitch".
I hate to keep harping on this topic but it is a family favorite.
With CM's handing out paper FP's after it first started happening, that acknowledges that they thought there was a problem with the ride that we might not appreciate. However with riders getting n o acknowledgement now I'm worried that they are not going to try and fix anything, which to me would be very disheartenin

I don't have the answer to your question, as we are already back, but it wasn't working on October 5th.

Have the announced a refurbishment for this ride?

It was working on Oct 6. It was not working on Oct 4. So I don't think its officially dead. But whether its like the Yeti and goes into permanent cartoon mode - who knows. Kids like the feature... to me, its meh because its using an old recognition and visualization system and generally comes up with really bad captures.
