EDIT - if this ends up true I really wonder what direction they end up going with the Genie - both visually...and in terms of the acting since the Genie even today is still so linked with Robin Williams and his comedic style

I'm really excited about this now that I read a bit more about George Miliotes. He was previously a master sommelier at California Grill and is an Orlando local. I believe Bob Chapek shot this article down and many have said these numbers are under reported. Shanghai isn't the top performing Disney park but it also isn't as low as this article says.

SDL was plenty busy when we were there in early August. If anything, I'd say that the hotels might be struggling a bit based on how empty they were when we were there.

I'm guessing they are announcing their plans for the 25th. A new ride would be great for either park, but it will probably be entertainment related (night time shows and maybe a new parade).

Who knows though. It's been a couple of years since the last ride opened.

Someone should let bob chapek know that the Street doesn't seem to be a fan of Shanghai...And since that's all that really matters to stock perception and therefore Iger...
...that's the "reality".

Chapek...on another note...seems to be intent on lining himself next to Paul pressler as "most beloved" amongst Disney execs...
