A look at the new marvel branding I mentioned a few days ago

Strange that this store isn't listed on the WDW website under Disney Springs shopping.

I suggest you take pictures and send it up to customer service. Make people aware of the issue. That is unacceptable in my view...when garbage is a problem at WDW, WDW is basically like everywhere else.

Agree 100% about it being totally unacceptable. Like I said, I would freak. I would probably personally take the pictures to guest services. I'd rather take a garbage bag and pick the crap up myself than see that when I'm at a Disney park. That's why I don't know if I could ever do Shanghai...

Disney has been trying hard to combat that issue it's just how society in Shanghai is unfortunately.

I'm just afraid I would end up punching someone in the face after being pushed or elbowed one too many times.

The monorail wrap did not have Marvel branding on it at all.

Adding the Marvel branding does indicate that something has changed.
iii. East or West of The Mississippi – permitted uses shall be limited to the use of specific Marvel characters and Marvel may not permit a licensee to use the name “Marvel” as part of the attraction name or marketing.

This part of the original contract prohibits using the Marvel name. Either the contract has been amended or Disney just doesn't care.

See my earlier post. It may fall under the proposed retail concept that was part of the original contract.

So then they still plan on building a timeshare at a location with lesser facilities that is the only location not to feature direct access via rail or waterway to a guest service area that doesn't have to contend with giraffes, elephants, and lions?

Yes this DVC is still planned.

I don't think this indicates the DVC plan has changed. I don't think they were ever going to build this boat connection. Again, it was an idea on a dart board that someone sees and it gets mentioned on rumor boards. Or it's one of those rumors that pops up because someone (NOT insider) says "Hey that's close to Epcot, they could build a boat line?" an it gets telephoned into "Disney is building a boat line"

But back to why it wasn't going to happen: It would be a direct boat connection from a moderate to a park. Why would people spend money to stay in a deluxe if a moderate has a direct boat connection? Wasn't going to happen.

I am rooting for the DVC there because I am really curious how they handle this - I won't discuss further though as it's been beaten to death in other places.

Right...that's kinda my point. It never made anysense...and yet all the kiddies lined up and put it on their "breaking news" boards. (Just to be clear...I'm not saying here...because it's properly labeled as a "rumor"...not a statement of plan or fact like Jim hill does constantly).

This is why you can never trust an "insider"...it's always at least 50% imagination or wishful thinking.

Just saying.

I think they are going to sabotage DVC unless they stay consistent...I think crossing the moderate barrier is like the asteroid in Armageddon.

just got off the phone with a string of different disney folks and it appears as long as we first use the annual passes between oct 2nd and jan 3 we will get the 13th month.

oh, and the last CM said there wasn't a price increase and (edit) then said some ramblings that conflict with the website and the 13th month being available to previous passholders.
