News Round Up 2016

Mgm had always been half the size of the others...so lb for lb the dining isn't that bad...
What is the "signature" in magic kingdom, if i may ask?

Cinderella Royal Table in the Castle.

It's about the only Signature I haven't been to. It's never interested me... I know many love it.

Except it isn't...there's nothing "signature" about it. The dining credits don't equate to food quality...especially not there

It's a signature because of location and popularity not because of food.

When did this new ratings system go into effect?

Because according to Disney there are 12 - none in magic kingdom

I mean...good god the food is awful...what's next? Tonys?

As far as I know it's been a signature for years. I would guess ever since it because two credits on the dining plan. I've never known it as anything other than that.

It's crazy. Meanwhile the food over at DCA and Disneyland seems to be getting better and better. At least on the quick serve side. The locals must have better taste.

They're better consumers...and that has been the problem in the swamp across the board.

I heard a blowhard from buffalo giving "advice" in the gurgling suitcase last week for 2 hours...I had to move over and "correct" all of it after he stumbled out.

Primary complaint: desserts too small

And artists point was "terrible" because the chicken was bad...because you get the Salmon or the bison, you moron!!!

Act like you've been somewhere other than Pizza Hut before!!!

Lots from the "palette challenged" there last week. Many amusing comments/ratings where overhead.

Huh? Animal Kingdom has underperformed? I've seen year over year increases. All due respect, AK has done well with the lack of attractions and nighttime hours when compared to DHS and EPCOT. Animal Kingdom is going to be awesome. Can't wait to experience all the new when I visit in about 4 weeks!

All the parks have experienced year on year increases so that doesn't change whether it has underperformed or not.

The unfortunate reality is it is seen by many as a half-day park. It's attendance is well behind not just MK but also Epcot and it is a very expensive park to run because of all the animals.

Rivers of Light and Nighttime Safari's don't fix the half-day park problem. At a minimum they need Avatar open.

I understand but I think a lot of that has to do with people thinking it's just a zoo. That of course brought on Nahtazu! That didn't help much.

But it is a zoo. And they should have embraced that. They don't have nearly enough rides and attractions not to be a zoo.
