Usually they are right under this thread so it shouldn't be hard at all to find.

A couple thoughts on that though:
#1 - I subscribe to this thread. Typically it's the only thing I do on disboards each day so I never see those other threads get created and might miss major news when I figure all the news is here.
#2 - People end up posting things here and are then told there's a separate thread on it. I've done it myself a couple of times. Then other people respond to the post here and 2 discussions get started.

I know it's more work so whatever you do is fine, but a post here to say another thread (and a link to that thread if possible) could be really helpful!

Most bigger news stories get their own thread like the cruise ships, star wars land etc. The smaller things like refurbs and photo updates get put in here. I just don't want this thread bogged down with endless discussions. I think I will mention if a thread has been started from now on.

I mostly only check this thread (I have 2 other watched threads). Unlike some people, I don't live on this thread, so I certainly prefer seeing news posted here rather than a new thread every time. Also why I hate when the same posters go post crazy arguing and complaining - like many of us I just hate having to find the informative threads from just complainers.

Most bigger news stories get their own thread like the cruise ships, star wars land etc. The smaller things like refurbs and photo updates get put in here. I just don't want this thread bogged down with endless discussions. I think I will mention if a thread has been started from now on.

No offense, but I believe that ship sailed about 150 pages ago. To be clear - I very much enjoy the discussion here - but as someone who also subscribes mostly to this thread it would be helpful to have those "bigger" stories here with a link to the discussion. That way you can also worry less about having to reply that there is already a separate discussion in another thread too.

That's funny. DH does amateur autoracing and loves the smell at the SpeedwayIt doesn't really bother me. Being around race cars and 2-stroke scooters a lot, I am used to smelly vehicles.

haha. but racing fuel smells a lot different from rich running small engines-- It's also different when there is a car every 10 feet of track, and about 50 of them at any given time idling under the cue.... my eyes burn just thinking about it....
