I would be annoyed too, but most of us would still buy the tickets anyway. And that's what Disney is counting on.If I had to pay a higher price for my 10-day because I had 1 day that was considered "peak," I would be really annoyed.
I'm interested to see how WDW would do tiers on tickets. We already have tiered prcing on hotels (including WDW) and airline tickets, but that is for a defined night or flight. With the current ticket structure, you buy a "10 day ticket" for $XXX and you can use the ticket any 10 days you want within the 14 day window after 1st use. Assuming weekends are more "valuable" than weekdays, how will that be accounted for? Do you buy a 6 day "weekday only" ticket? Or a 4 day "2 weekend days ticket"?
If tiered pricing was rolling out this weekend along with a price increase, you think some of these things would have been leaked or rolled out early for people to interpret before they went live Sunday morning.
