News Round Up 2016

If I had to pay a higher price for my 10-day because I had 1 day that was considered "peak," I would be really annoyed.
I would be annoyed too, but most of us would still buy the tickets anyway. And that's what Disney is counting on.

I'm interested to see how WDW would do tiers on tickets. We already have tiered prcing on hotels (including WDW) and airline tickets, but that is for a defined night or flight. With the current ticket structure, you buy a "10 day ticket" for $XXX and you can use the ticket any 10 days you want within the 14 day window after 1st use. Assuming weekends are more "valuable" than weekdays, how will that be accounted for? Do you buy a 6 day "weekday only" ticket? Or a 4 day "2 weekend days ticket"?

If tiered pricing was rolling out this weekend along with a price increase, you think some of these things would have been leaked or rolled out early for people to interpret before they went live Sunday morning.

Seriously though, Disney must have a room full of scripts in development right now. They've announced like 50 new projects in the last two years. I do wonder how many of those will actually see the light of day.
Very true. I'd be interested to see how this small world movie would turn out though.

Gotta say, that is probably the cut that I am most sad about. The Streetmosphere was one of my favorite aspects of DHS and will be saddened if it is lessened/eventually removed (one of my fears with turning it into Star Wars/Toy Story park)

I have to agree with this. Over the years I think members of my family have been involved in at least four interactions and they were priceless (except for the cost of admission ;-)

I'm not sure about this one. I'm picturing something along the the lines of the Haunted Mansion movie.

I was thinking more along the lines of Child's Play, with a couple hundred costumed Chuckys going after every adult in the park.

C' mon, don't tell me you haven't felt like their eyes follow you as your boat floats by.

Important to note: the interview says that it's within the realm of possibility - not that it is going to happen at this point.
But "will" is a much more powerful action word than "could", so that's what the title says

I'd say it's inevitable. The movie industry has been slowly moving (crawling some might argue) towards a more diverse character base. I don't see that trend reversing.

The real question in my mind is if we'll see such a character in Episodes VIII or IX.

I absolutely see it happening as well, but I have seen this article going around other sites with extremely excited comments attached to it. No where in that (one sentence) interview does JJ say "there is an openly gay character," just that it is a possibility. What's going to happen is that nothing happens in the next film, and people freak out because "JJ said so!" For those who may not read the article, it's something to note

Sooooo Episode IX ends with Finn and Poe getting married ;)

They did seem to be overly enamored of each other, but I just thought it was a bromance:) Either way is fine with me. I don't really care if they even define it or make a big deal about it. In reality, there's often a fine line between friendship and romance.
