The Disney Giftcard eCard Is Now Available

Disney needs to make this available through their gift card website (https://www.disneygiftcard.com/) and just have a barcode, or QR code, to scan and redeem, much like Starbucks does.

I thought it said that you could just use the barcode on a mobile device to scan it. You can print or scan it from a mobile device were the two options.

I guess what I meant was that the scan option should also be available from the gift card website. I but disney gift cards to pay for my trips and incidentals in the parks. It would be awesome to just use my phone and scan it, or better yet make it an option to add it to your magic band.

Tried to price out a hotel/package reservation today and received this error message:

"On November 18 and 19, we will be unable to make new Resort hotel reservations online or over the phone. You will still be able to purchase tickets, book dining reservations and make FastPass+ selections. We apologize for any inconvenience while we work to improve your future experience."

Anyone know if they are instituting noticeable changes to the website or prices? If not, that is a ridiculously long scheduled outage for routine maintenance and upgrades.

I don't have any details for you, but I did see the notice there several days ago. And I've seen price increases without such a downtime so I wouldn't think it would be just for that.

This notice has been up for a few days now. I don't believe the changes will impact guest booking once the system is back up

My biggest problem is it says you can still book dining reservations. That's a Big Bucket of Baloney, I get the same silly "Stitch ate the page" when trying to make my last dining ressie for May. Nothing appears to be working!

Cute and versatile, but definitely a lot larger for those who want to continue to wear on their wrists. I like them though.

I agree; these seem a little bigger than before and will enjoy the versatility!! but what do you think about the puck maybe popping out when we're riding rides or at the water parks?? I'm sure Disney has tested this.. has anyone heard feedback from cast members who have tried the new style?

There has not been any widespread testing among cast, and I'm sure those that have tested were sworn to secrecy

That's how I judge my reaction to a cold front warning - Typhoon Lagoon closing means wear a winter jacket, canceled Luau means pull out the gloves, and farmers setting up sprinklers means cancel all outdoor plans unless they include a trip to see the manatees.
