News Round Up 2016

Where are, you know, the muppets? And same pizza? So they take the same menu that had mixed reviews (being nice here), take out the fun theming/games, and it's supposed to excite people?

Though actually if you look on the one (2nd floor) there is one wall with a bunch of curtained windows. This is where they have mentioned in the literature about a "family celebration". I wonder if eventually they'll have an animatronic show, but because it's soft opening it's not quite ready. (Trying to be optimistic in the face of really depressing facts. This has been a common event lately in the Real World as well.)

I'm not sure about that but if you look at photos of things on the walls there are muppet gags in them. There is also the rumor we still see mama melrose become a muppet table service.

WDWNT said the food was pretty good, but the pictures make me want that salad and BOTH those desserts.

Definitely going to swing by and check it out in a couple of weeks.

I know they had the meatball sub according to the photos I saw. I don't know if they had any pizza.

I heard a rumor through the grapevine. It sounds plausible. Once Pandora is finished, the next big project on the table for Animal Kingdom is to get rid of Dinoland USA and it will be replaced with a non-IP immersive land.

Anyone hear anything similar?
Interesting. This was posted a month back:

Awesome quote from Rohde during the construction of Dinoroma:
The new rides, incidentally, were bought from another company and include very little work by the famed Imagineers, other than theming.

"There is a time where the solution is not to design, and this is a case where we didn't need to be in a design mode," Rohde says. "I have no doubt that we will be adding spectacular attractions in the future."

Lol Like he really believed there isn't a time to design. Love corporate spin.

Looks like a strong visual improvement. A little sparse, but all together a very nice job done. Pizza Planet was pretty terrible, so as far as visuals go this is grand.

I may be the only one who says this, but I actually really like the pizza.

:duck:

This emoji is thematic for two reasons!

Despite keeping the menu, maybe Pizza Rizzo improved the quality. Has anyone tried the pizza yet?

Hey I'm not going to throw things at you because you like the Pizza. Just give you one of these. :confused3

But did that actually break ground? It was announced but I'm not sue if construction ever started.

In a way. They announced it and then started demolition on the old buildings with the intent on starting construction once they were cleared.
